Your Role

At Saab, we are growing and investing for the future. Within the Ground Combat development unit, we are strengthening the project office and looking for a secure, curious, and unpretentious project manager who wants to lead technically advanced and complex development projects in the drone area.

As a project manager, you will lead projects from early idea and concept to verified solution and delivery. The projects are characterized by high technical complexity and close collaboration with several stakeholders and functions such as development, production, procurement, quality, testing, and after-sales. You are responsible for planning, prioritization, and follow-up, as well as time, risk, and resource management, ensuring the project's progress through clear communication.

An important part of the role is collaboration with external parties, such as authorities, customers, and partners, both in Sweden and internationally. You represent the projects in various forums and contribute to well-balanced decisions together with teams and stakeholders.

The location is Solna. Business trips within Sweden and internationally may occur.

Your Profile

As a person, you are solution-oriented, communicative, and confident in taking responsibility even in complex contexts. You thrive in change, can switch between the big picture and details, and create structure that holds even when conditions change. You have a degree from a university or college in engineering or equivalent work experience, and have previously worked in leading projects or development initiatives in a technical or industrial environment, for example as a project manager, product manager, or technical leader.

You collaborate unpretentiously, build trust, and create engagement in teams. You express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

You are proactive, social, and flexible. You create focus and drive work forward while not hesitating to contribute where needed. We place great emphasis on personal qualities in this recruitment.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may, in some cases, be requirements for certain citizenship.
